La Harpe Schools has received a grant from the Tracy Family Foundation to offer the La Harpe Family Dinner Project, a program designed to bring families together around the dinner table.
Up to 75 families will receive free “Dinner in a Box” meal kits for three meals per week, beginning mid-January and continuing through the summer. Each meal includes nutritious ingredients, simple recipes, and family conversation starters.
The program is not income-based and is open to families of all sizes, as long as at least one student is enrolled at La Harpe Schools.
We are accepting family names and interest through January fifth. Families may sign up by emailing Janet at jgladu@laharpeeagles.com, calling 217-659-7739, messaging the school’s Facebook page, or stopping by the school office.
