WIRC-CAA Victim Services
This is an email sent from Sally Vigezzi from the Western Illinois Regional Council Victim Services in Macomb, IL.
I am reaching out to you to let you know that WIRC-Victim Services is still working to support our community. I know that at this time, you may not have much interaction with your students, but with social distancing and isolation, we wanted to let you know about our domestic violence services. The types of violence include but are not limited to:
1. Child maltreatment/abuse
2. Teen dating violence
3. Youth violence-bullying
4. Intimate partner violence
5. Elder abuse
6. Sexual assault
7. Domestic violence
8. Suicide
While people are encouraged to stay at home, students may feel isolated from their friends and family. We are here for support that may not be available through school, family or friends. I wanted to inform you of our free 24/7 hotline and telephone counseling services. Please feel free to share the below phone numbers.
